About

We live in an age following post modernism. A time when all cultures are being mixed up and mashed into new and interesting art forms and experiences. A time where a musician can have a number one hit by re-working the notes from a hundred other records.
But it’s also a time of increasingly vacuous celebrity and celebrity chef.
Trash Blanc is a reaction to all of this. High living is now obtainable by everyone. We are all
David Beckham. Or maybe in this case Jamie Olivier. Trash Blanc takes Tescos’ Finest, adds some Perrier and Moet, stirs in a little Olde Oake Chilli Dog from Taj Stores and spits out some tasty food that’s a million miles away from the processed, salt laden stodge the aforementioned Oliver is flogging down in Sainsburys. Oh, and there’s probably some batter in there somewhere.
Trash Blanc is not a joke, we take it quite seriously. The concept was devised and constructed by Ricky Casanova and Donovan Smoke in 2004, and has been further expanded upon ever since.
Over the past years various recipes and ideas have been published to keepingitfake.com, the home of Trash Blanc. We now feel the concept now deserves its own space. Here it is.
